Nice to meet you

Hello, I’m Eleanore Kitchen

BA Hons in PCET, FITOL, CMgr, FCMI, MAC

Coach, Counsellor, L&D Professional, Management Consultant and Inspirational Speaker.

Before we go on a journey together, read on to get to know me and find out more about my personal journey.

I have always had a passion to help others reach their full potential and use my creativity to make learning enjoyable. Through coaching and mentoring, I can influence behavioural transformation, leading to positive changes in my clients personal and professional lives. The growth and success I see in others, has become part of my own growth and success.

Part of my journey has been to study through the Institute of Leadership and Management, gaining a professional qualification and many years of practice as a Coach and Mentor. These skills have been integral to my twenty-year career in a senior position in a large Defence organisation. As a Chartered Manager and Fellow with the Chartered Management Institute, my career focus has been on developing leaders and managers and enhancing underperforming teams. I can associate with the quote by John Buchan, “The task of leadership is not to put greatness into people, but to elicit it. For the greatness is there already.” This is where I believe coaching and mentoring can help to unlock potential through self-belief and development of a growth mindset. I am currently working with a registered charity and providing motivational coaching to long-term unemployed people which is incredibly rewarding.

In addition to my passion for my work, I have a great love of animals, nature and the outdoors. I enjoy travel and walking and my latest challenge was to complete a 119 km Camino walk from Tui to Santiago in Spain. Despite my fear of heights, to date, I have climbed six mountains. I continue to look for new challenges and try to enrich my life and make every day special. I look for that same passion in my clients. I know it’s there because coming to me for coaching and mentoring demonstrates their desire for change and improvement.

My mission statement

My mission is to build relationships with my clients that are based on truth, transparency, and trust. I respect confidentiality and conduct all my dealings with dignity and courtesy. I encourage, I support, and I ask challenging questions and explore possibilities to empower my clients to source their own solutions.
